If you have read George Orwell's 1984, then you are familiar with the term Newspeak. The words we know are the language of our thoughts, therefore the words you use affect the way you think.
In today's society we are bombarded with new words and phrases designed to change the way we think about the world. "War" has become "kinetic military action", "printing money" is referred to as "stimulus", "taxes" are described with words such as "value added". These new words are often used to confuse us and obfuscate the true nature of what is going on in our world.
What we need is a new vocabulary to combat this attack on one of our most valuable resources, our language. That is the purpose of this blog.
